The Vessel No. 8 Garden Candle brings together Essencoraβs signature ceramics with a custom-poured scent profile. Each large vessel is thrown on the wheel and glazed by hand in layered silvery celadon with a raw clay rim for organic contrast. The soy-coconut wax blend burns cleanly, releasing subtle notes of fresh moss, peony, and damp earth. When the candle is spent, the vessel becomes a keepsake planter or bowlβeach piece is one-of-a-kind due to glaze variation.

The Vessel No. 8 Garden Candle is visually striking. I chose the eucalyptus lavender scent and itβs subtle but nice outdoors. The concrete vessel feels very sturdy; I accidentally left it out in a rain shower and it was just fine. Burns evenly, though I wish the scent traveled a bit further in the open air.

The vessel is heavier than I thought, which means it doesnβt tip over in a breezeβgreat for outdoor use. I went with the lemongrass scent. It isnβt overly strong but does help keep bugs away. The style is understated and goes with various garden themes.

I love the modern look of this candle on my patio table. The smoked clay color pairs well with my rustic planters. Lighting it for evening gatherings creates a relaxed mood. The candle lasted longer than I expected, which is a bonus. The insect-repelling option is a clever touch for summer nights.

I purchased the Vessel No. 8 mostly for its look, and it did not disappoint on my deck. The candle creates a warm ambiance. Burns cleanly, no tunneling so far. I think it would be nice if there were more scent choices available, though.
